Emmarentia Dam, Johannesburg, South Africa: Picnic in the Park Photoshoot.
In April 2022, my good friend and I, went to visit Emmarentia Park, to have a picnic photoshoot. Let’s just say, that I am obsessed with the results! Gaby Isabelle is an amazingly, talented photographer, and it was an absolute pleasure working with her. Gaby took wonderful pictures of me, even through I am new to modeling.
I am not a model. In fact, I am super awkward in front of the camera! Trust me. Yet, somehow, Gaby guided me, offered pose suggestions, and ultimately created this beautiful Gallery!
Now, to get technical! We used a Canon DSLR EOS 550D camera. We switched between two lenses to capture different aspects of the shoot! (EFS 18-55mm and EFS 55-250mm)
For close ups, we used the EFS 55-250mm lens. For body shots, we would use the EFS 18-55mm. Yes, I learnt a lot about cameras, lenses, angles and composition during these shoots! Which is great, because I have the same camera and lenses at home!
